Yesterday we learned all about Boudicca’s revolt. Boudicca was the Queen of the Iceni tribe. She was a Celt. She was furious at the actions of the Romans and all of the heartache they had bought her family and country. Therefore she organised an uprising against them.

If you want to find out more about the famous revolt, you can here >>>

Did you know, Boudicca’s army was mainly made up of women, whereas the Roman army was all men?!

We hope you enjoy the photos of us reenacting the final battle!

What did the Romans do for us? (Plus iPad fun!)

We worked in teams to find out about different aspects of life, before and after the Roman invasion. We researched the areas using iPads and text books then recorded our findings on a sheet of paper. Then we had to present what we found out to the rest of the class. The areas we researched were; towns, beliefs, clothes, houses and technology. It was our first lesson using the iPads, we loved using them!
